Nahko Bear (Medicine for the People) – Aloha Ke Akua A song - TopicsExpress

Nahko Bear (Medicine for the People) – Aloha Ke Akua A song about recognizing and appreciating the miracle and the joy of life, the bitter sweet experience of coming to realizing and taking responsibility for our purpose and place within it all x The words aloha ke akua mean the breath of life and the love of God -- thats a lose translation. Hawaiians believe when you speak this language with intention it has mana or big power to it. So this song in its most raw prayer form .. has a lot of power and courage to it... The Hawaiian language can say many different things in one word. The word KULEANA, as noted in the Hawaiian dictionary can mean right, privilege, concern, responsibility, etc. But, for a native person KULEANA is not just a word that says responsibility but it is much deeper and richer than what the English language can express. It speaks of a value, a way of thinking. Ill post the lyrics in the comments Have a wondrous day & enjoy
