Namaskar, I am Rakesh Thussu from Shalayar Habba Kadal, during last year I came to know that our house at Habba Kadal Kashmir has been demolished considering unsafe building and shops are being constructed for the locals without any information to us. Without our consent local authorities have deposited some nominal amount at relief commissioner’s office Jammu to show the movement as legal. We and our neighbor Sh. Matto Sahab challenged the movement and after lots of efforts we got the stay from High Court on construction of Shops. As we start intervening more deeper we managed to get the documents from departments in one document we found it that there are many other KP houses which they want to demolish and make community centers etc. I have uploaded the document in which name and location is mentioned. There are many mistakes in names but I am sure concerned owners will recognize the details. The work of demolition and new construction has been stopped at the moment and we are pleading through the high court. (in our case local authorities have shown unsafe building and place was required for road widening but they were constructing shops since our house was on Road side) I was in Kashmir recently and went to site and I was shocked to know that the local MLA of NC has taken money from local people for issuing the shops as well that too with the prime location pattern (road side, street side). I would like to request humbly to all KP’s of Habba Kadal to see whether their house is in the list.
