Namaste Everyone, My name is Gaura Das. I am a student of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada for the past 40 years. He is the founder of the Hare Krishna Movement, which represents the Gaudiya Vaisnavism of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu I am devoted to helping preserve the ancient spiritual culture of India which is the real hope of the world today. I just gave a lecture at Concordia University two days ago on Rituals In Practice in Hinduism and every night I am doing a kirtan at a different location in Montreal I specialize in leading Kirtan Workshops and engaging people in the most blissful aspects of Indias wonderful culture, singing the sacred chants of Vedic culture, discussing Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and teaching cooking of ayurvedic vegetarian prasadam. I am doing a week of kirtan programs in the Montreal area before I return to Guelph, and would love to stop in Peterborough to lead a kirtan on the way back, before I assist the University of Guelph Bhakti Yoga Club where I also lead kirtans and discuss Bhagavad Gita philosophy Please let me know if anyone would like to host me for a couple of hours of kirtan sometime on Tuesday October 7th. I will finish my workshop at the Spirit Tree Yoga Center in Cornwall hopefully by Noon and will head toward Kingston to do kirtan with the Queens University Hindu Students Association at 5:30 PM Monday. I have no accomodation , for the night, but have my own sleeping bag and air mattress I look forwarding to kirtaning with you and any of your friends soon in Peterborough ! Please contact me.
