Narendra Modi, the BJPs prime ministerial candidate, has been denied permission for one of his rallies tomorrow in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, from where he is contesting his first parliamentary election. His party has reacted sharply, and has asked the Election Commission to sack the officer responsible. Narendra Modi is not being allowed to campaign in Varanasi...this is unprecedented and unheard of, and the party will not take it lying down, said senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
