Natasha is a Book Junkies interview with herself about Making Faces. Its just too good not to share: ◆ Natasha 1: Hi Natasha, so... Six Stars, ha? ◆ Natasha 2: Yep. Books like these dont come along very often and when they do, I like to scream about them from the mountaintops. This book had it all for me. It is so unique and breathtakingly beautiful, I was mesmerised by it. The story grabbed me immediately and by around 13% I was sobbing like a baby. I actually have pictures of my face situation while reading it. No, they are not for public consumption. No, I have no idea why I snapped them. ◆ Natasha 1: Why did you wait so long to read it? ◆ Natasha 2: *glares at herself* Because I am allowed to make mistakes. I always knew I would like this book, I just never expected to love it THIS much. When it first came out, I was not in the right state of mind for a tear-jerker, so I shelved it for later. I met Amy at Book Bash last weekend and she just smiled at me and said it was okay that I still hadnt read it. Talk about a reverse psychology ninja! I started reading it that very night. ◆ Natasha 1: You (almost) never cry while reading books. What happened? ◆ Natasha 2: I was a mess. There was no telling what would trigger the next sobbing episode. I went through two boxes of tissues. Sometimes the most random scene had me bawling uncontrollably. I pity the guests next door to my hotel room. The story is so simple and yet so BEAUTIFUL, my heart was invested from the get-go. I felt everything the characters felt, I was at their mercy, and so I cried at every emotional spike in the storyline. ◆ Natasha 1: I know you. I know you have an obsessive personality. Fess up - how many times have you read it since last weekend? ◆ Natasha 2: ... Three times. ◆ Natasha 1: Any parting words? ◆ Natasha 2: Yes, EVERYONE needs to read this book!! I am telling you, this is a book that should be on everyones reading list. https://facebook/natashaisabookjunkie
