National: LoC tension KOTLI: Two civilians were martyred in fresh unprovoked Indian firing and mortar shelling at Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday. According to Assistant Commissioner Nakyal Muhammad Ayud Khan, India resorted to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling in Nakyal sector. A woman was killed and minor girl injured when a mortar shell hit a house in Datot area. A civilian was also martyred in Indian firing in Pir Kalanjar of Nakyal sector on Sunday. Earlier, Indian army’s wanton cross-border shelling/firing on a Pakistani village in Nakyal sector near Kotli district of Azad Jammu & Kashmir had left three civilians including two women injured on late Saturday night. Pakistani border security forces retaliating with full force gave a befitting reply to the occupational Indian forces deployed on the Line of Control (LoC) in Indian Held Kashmir. Sources said one of the shells fired by Indian artillery from across the international border landed on a house in Lanjot village. On Saturday evening, the India troops also violated ceasefire at LoC and opened unprovoked fire in Tarkandi, Datot, Kalar, Gala and Charani areas. Meanwhile, addressing a ceremony in Hyderabad Dakan, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said violation of ceasefire at LoC was not international issue and that both the countries should resolve it bilaterally. He said incidents of firings takes place from both sides but media cannot show them in a proper way.
