Naye mwe, is it possible to love two people at once? Ahaaah; Kojja Ssempagama; Morning saga; I have been with my man for nearly a year and this is our second attempt at something great. When I met him nearly four years ago, he and his now wife were living together, raising their two children and I was single. We started seeing each other and it became clear that our feelings for each other were serious. However, he still planned to marry the mother of his children, so I left and decided that we should remain friends. He married her six months later. I moved on, dated and I too got married some time later. A couple of years passed and we decided to see each other again, but just as friends. This was hard because I still loved him and he told me that he still loved me. We began a heavily intimate and emotional affair. Things were great in the beginning. We understood each other and we shared a special connection that we weren’t getting at home with our spouses. My husband, fed up with our loveless union moved out and eventually moved away for a new job. Around the same time, my side dish discovered his wife was having an affair with her coworker. I thought that these things happened for a reason and that it was finally our chance to be together. However, he stayed with her. He was so hurt by her cheating but did not want to break up his family. It was now so clear how much he loved her. I stood by him and supported his decision. Six months later, they seem happier than ever and I question why he even bothers to maintain what we have. I know that he loves me and I love him too but he loves her more and I know I should leave because I deserve better, but I don’t want to walk away from the possibility. Every time I try to leave he convinces me to stay and tells me how much he loves me. If he loves me so much, why won’t he let me be happy with someone who can give me their undivided attention/affection? If he loves her so much, what am I here for?
