Nearly 3 years ago, we received a phone call from the wife of John Cays the Dean of the Architecture College at NJIT. John was laying on his dining room floor in excruciating pain and could not get up. John had taken the week off and planned some home construction work around the house that proved to be too much too soon, for his back. When Angela called she explained John was unable to come into the office, so Dr. Ray went to his house. Unable to get John up he administered Chiropractic care to him on the floor. The next day Dr. Ray visited John again, and saw that he still hadnt been able to move from the floor. At this, the goal became to get John into his bed. Although the bedroom was only down the hall it took Dr. Ray almost two hours to get John from the floor to his bed because of frequent back spasms that were halting the process. Slowly but surely, after Dr Ray was able to get John into his bed he gave him another chiropractic treatment. After this, Dr. Ray told John that the next step was to get him out of bed and walking by the weekend. After 5 days of daily visits to Johns house and a lot of Chiropractic care, he was able to walk into our office that weekend to continue his recovery. Now years later, John is a regular maintenance patient at the Chiropractic Wellness Center and has had no further major spinal problems!
