Nearly 50 years have passed since Sergeant Harold George Bennett was murdered by the Viet Cong, but his courage, strength and commitment to country should never be forgotten. It’s my hope that in naming this building after him, even more Americans will learn of his life and ultimate sacrifice. My fellow Arkansans and I are proud to call him one of ours.
