Need some guidance guys. Its been over 3 months since Ive picked up my pastels. (I wont go into the reason) Well today I enjoyed a couple of hours deciding what to do to get back into the swing with my favorite medium. I decided to start at the beginning and use MiTeintes (grey) and soft pastels (terry Ludwig and Great American) I was very lucky to get even two layers with these softies. LOL I think its off somewhere. To light, not dark enough, whatever. Ive looked into mirrors, upside down and black and white. I dont see it. I just feel it. Any suggestions? Ive posted both the black and white and the (possibly finished) colored piece. Thanks
