Need some help... Im buying a bed for Ws room and was looking at the Ikea bed frames but many of them are slat-based. After doing some reading online, some people have said that the slats shift out of place at times. Ive only ever had beds with boxsprings so I have no idea how a slat bed actually looks / works in practical use. Does anyone have a bed that uses slats and do you just place the mattress on top of the slats? Is it comfortable? I just need some general guidance here before I spend more time Googling + researching the differences. :) Thanks in advance!
