Need to share the strangest remedy I discovered last night. I burned my knuckle while boiling water. I did the usual...ice, Tylenol. Every time I took my finger off the ice the pain returned. Images of a perfect evening in bed with Zen tea and my Kindle suddenly vanished. Only one solution...Google....I find a link that says if you wrap or cover the burn in aluminum foil it helps ease the pain. Although I find this extremely strange, I tried it...and within minutes the pain was completely gone. ?? I have no idea how or why this works, I give all the credit and praise to the Google god who has saved me more times than I can count. Hopefully this helps someone (or their screaming child)....:)
