Neighborhood Services Bureau Invites You to Learn About Code Enforcement Long Beach residents are invited to the MacArthur Park/Whittier School Neighborhood monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Neighborhood Library located at 1401 E. Anaheim St. in the Community Room. Free parking is available at the library parking lot. Karl Wiegelman, Principal Building Inspector of Neighborhood Services Bureau of the Long Beach Development Services Department will give an overview of the general code enforcement procedures. The workshop will give an opportunity for residents, community leaders and landlord/property owners to learn about common code violations such as: • Garage converted to illegal dwelling units. • Inoperative vehicles stored on residential property… and more.
