NeilRichardson Moshi VanSparkles The Prophet PBUH respected all religions and respected all human life even though many leaders of different Religions at the time wanted him killed. But despite all that he PBUH still was sympathetic towards them. The Nagus gave the Companies of The Prophet PBUH shelter in abysina when they Migrated from Mecca to Medina and after his (The Nagus) passing away The Prophet PBUH performed Salah tul Janazah (the prayer for the deceased) upon him. A Muslims life is Scared in the eyes of our Lord but so is a non muslims life. Allah the all mighty says in the holy Quraan Do not kill yourselves, for verily Allah has been to you most merciful (Chapter 4, verse 29) ....take not life which Allah has made sacred (Chapter 6, verse 151) ...and (Allah) is the one who gave you life, then shall He ordain you to die, then shall He give you your life again, truly mankind is ungrateful (Chapter 22, verse 66). This life is gift to us from our Lord and we should use it in a way to please him and not be ungrateful in anyway towards him. May Allah guide us all....
