Nematodes are here! A.k.a your treatment for GRUBS. White grubs are the larvae of certain beetles, like June beetles and chafers. They feed on the delicious roots of your lawn grass, often resulting in unsightly patches throughout your lawn. Have you noticed any of these larvae out in your garden this season? The window has now opened to start treating. What are Nematodes you ask? They are a good microscopic organism that you simply water into your lawn. The nematodes then seek out and kill the bad bugs, like grubs. Nematodes have a short window of treatment in the spring which is open now, and again after the heat of summer has passed. These are the times of the year when the larvae are most active in their feeding and susceptible to attack from the nematodes.
