Nepal made significant progress in health sector: Swedish expert A Swedish medical doctor today said that Nepal had been very successful in combating child mortality rate. Prof Hans Rosling, at a presentation ‘investing for children’ jointly orgainsed by the National Planning Commission and UNICEF in the capital today, said bringing down child mortality below 50 per cent is an achievement for Nepal. “No country in the world has achieved such progress,” he said, adding, “Female Community Health Volunteers played a major role in achieving this success.” READ MORE: shar.es/LB4JG
