Network Marketing Tip for Today: How to Get More Sign Ups in Your Business Let’s say that you have introduced someone to your network marketing opportunity and you are ready to do your follow up. You have contacted that person and they have come back to you and have indicated that at this point in time they are not interested. From a percentage point of view, statistics show that only 2% of sales occur in the first follow up. Now if someone says No, or they are not interested this does not mean that they are not interested at all, it just means that they are not ready, not clear, haven’t heard what they can resonate with yet. In saying that statistics show that 80% of sales occur somewhere between 5 and 12 contacts with a person. So what does that mean? It means that it is all about building a relationship with that person. You are not in the business of getting people just to sign up in your business, you’re job as a network marketer is to develop relationships with people, so that they want to link arms with you and work as a team to build something substantial. So how do you build your relationship with someone? Each time that you make contact with someone, send them something of value that is going to give them proof that this business works, a success story or something that can help them… in what you have discovered through conversations you have had with them that can make a difference to them. Send them information that they can resonate with. Remember you are building a relationship. By doing this you are showing that you care about the person that you are dealing with, over time they will get to know you, like you and trust you… and when they are ready they will do business with you. So if you approach your business this way, you will have built for yourself a sustainable business… you will get more people to sign up with you.
