Networking Practical:- Sharing Printer:- 1.Firstly connect the computers with each other with the help of networking device – Hub or Switch. 2.Now also connect the local printer with one of the computer in the network on the USB port of that specific computer. 3.Now assign the IP addresses (private addresses) to each of the computer in the network. 4.All the computers must in a same Workgroup. 5.Now install the drivers of the local printer on that computer to which the local printer is physically connected. 6. Now go to control panel and open the “Devices and Printers” option. 7.Click on “Add a printer”. 8.Now click on “Add a local printer”. 9.Do further options in the next new windows. 10.Now if any other computer’s user wants to print something then that user firstly have to access that computer to which printer is connected by putting the ip address of that computer in Run option. (Example: \192.168.1.5) 11.Now a window opens in which there is a option of “Printers and Faxes”. 12.In this new window the shared printer is shown which we select. 13.After selecting , the devices driver of the printer gets installed in this computer and then the printer comes in the print condition to print from this Computer . **Powered By DudeCircle**
