Never did i realize how this article would spark debate, anger and outrage by so many people on social media. I have been trying so hard not to respond to people who are trashing the Connellsville police department. And I hear that a lot of people are planning on attending tomorrows special council meeting. Which this meeting was scheduled so the City can adopt its 2015 budget. City council meetings are not for people to air out their grievances against other people. If anyone feels they have been wrongly accused or convicted please seek legal advice from an attorney. City council members have no involvement in the legal process. With that being said, all relevant information has not been disclosed to the City. At this point, the matter is being investigated and currently is an internal personnel matter. No one on city council can say anymore than that statement right now. When the city can comment more we will i promise you that much.
