Never have I had to block somebody on this page due to negativity and slanderous comments but it appears we have somebody that just wants to keep stirring the pot claiming they put a application in and have sent several messages with no response. After digging through stacks of applications there was not application found from this person. And we get over 50 private messages a day on this page and to be quite honest there is no way to answer everyone of them. She is now posting slanderous posts on her personal page stating that her family has donated hundreds of dollars to this rescue and god only knows where that money is going and she feels sorry for our dogs. Well I can tell you in the past 2 months our vet bills for all the medical cases we have had have come to over $8000.00 so every donation that we get goes directly towards our vet bill. I personally pay for the dog food for our fosters unless one of our awesome fosters pay for the food themselves, so every dime that comes into this rescue goes towards our vet bill. She says her family has donated hundreds of dollars to this rescue so they should be a priority as far as adopting a dog. Sadly that is not how it works. We strive to pick the very best homes for each of our dogs and it is not a overnight decision and it is not based on if you have made a donation to this rescue. I have decided to go through the donations and reimburse her every last dime she or her family has donated to this rescue. So with this being said I just wanted to make sure that all of you that have supported us and continue to support us - thank you. I know there is always going to be a few in the crowd that you can never make happy but to be quite honest I am tired of her drama and feel the best thing to do is just to get rid of the drama and continue doing what we do and that is saving dogs. ~Heidi~
