Never listen to people who bad mouth another Martial Arts that usually come from their lack of understanding of that Art. All the Arts work equally if applied at the correct range with correct form. Conor McGregor is living proof of these principles. I hear people say Trapping does not work or High Kicks, thats because they cant apply them correctly. If you train a jab correctly and apply it with in the right range, it will work, if not it will fail. The same can be said for any movement what ever the Art. Bruce Lee predicted the future of MMA over 40 years ago and the man was right. One can use any form with in the right context and range. The area where people go wrong is they separate the Arts which is not how they were original mean to be applied. Trapping can and does work but only in 1 range for a split second the same can be said for any Art. BJJ is the ultimate ground Art, but in the wrong situation e.g. a mass-attack or knife attack the last place you want to be is on the ground. So every Art has its limitations and merit. Bruce said this many moons ago and it seems he was right. Watch and enjoy!
