New Army Tuition Assistance policies in effect- Soldiers using TA should be aware of the following policy changes: --Effective for classes starting after Sept. 5: -If you earn a D or below in an undergraduate course, you must pay back the TA. -If you earn a C or below in a graduate course, you must pay back the TA. -Sept. 19 is the deadline to request TA for any class starting before Oct. 1. --Effective 1 Oct 14: -All TA requests for classes must be submitted and approved before the class start date. Late TA requests will be rejected. Remember: TA requests can be submitted through GoArmyEd (GoArmyEd) up to 60 days before the class start date. -TA will only cover tuition. Fees (including lab fees) will no longer be covered. Bottom line: Always get your TA requests in early so your class can be funded.
