New Hampshire State Police have arrested a 16-year-old female after she is accused of leading troopers on a high speed pursuit earlier this morning. According to reports, New Hampshire State Police were advised of a motor vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lane on Interstate 93 by the Tilton Police Department. Trooper Myrdek and Trooper Walsh immediately responded to the area. Troopers Myrdek and Walsh gained visual contact of the motor vehicle , described as a Red Toyota RAV4, in the area of exit 17. When the troopers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop, the operator refused to pull over. The troopers continued traveling southbound, parallel to the vehicle, as it traveled at approximately 118 mph. As the vehicle went thru the southbound Hooksett Tolls Trooper Dore responded to assist. The vehicle continued southbound in the northbound lane onto Interstate 293. Trooper Dore was able to successfully deploy spike strips in the area of exit 6min Manchester, NH. The vehicle drove over the spike strips and continued for a short distance before coming to a stop in the area of exit 4 on Interstate 293 North. The operator, a 16 year old unlicensed female, was taken into custody without incident. At this time. the exact charges have not been released along with the suspects name as she is a juvenile. However, troopers are asking the public if anyone had witnessed any part of the incident to contact Trooper Derek Myrdek at 603-223-8496.
