New Job Accountant - J806 Industry: FMCG Job Type: Permanent Location: Basingstoke, England Salary: £28000 - £35000 per annum + Car, Pension, Bonus An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join our client, a growing FMCG. You will be reporting to the CFO, you will manage the overall function of finance with 1 direct report. Key Responsibilities of the Accountant job will include: * SAP BI Key User for the UK site, liaising with the Functional Expert and supporting all users in the UK with issue resolution and reporting support. * Calculate the sales commission (for all UK sales associates) and feed into relevant stakeholders for accruals. * Develop & Mange the Daily Business Position reporting, ensure that it meets the needs of key stakeholders, is accurate and any anomalies are investigated proactively. * Daily interaction with divisions BDMs to support closing deals with thorough knowledge of relevant calculators including an appropriate IRR model. Making decisions on investment to secure new business or retention * Budget control across sales areas - accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, YEE input. * Key account reporting at period end to support the sales teams * Ad-hoc project support as required for the Finance Manager * The ideal Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills * ACCA/CIMA fully qualified * At least 1 years experience in a finance role * BI reporting experience preferable * Decision support role experience If you are interested in the role of Accountant please do not hesitate to apply today.
