New Job Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse - RGN or RMN - AS-301 Industry: Medical and Nursing Job Type: Contract Location: Norfolk, England Salary: £15 - £19 per hour I am looking for a registered nurse (RMN OR RGN) to start work as soon as possible in a community substance misuse team in the Norwich area. You will need to have a valid NMC PIN and experience of working with substance misuse clients. You will be based in a community team, carrying a caseload of complex clients. Duties of the role will include liaising with external agencies, mental health services, and GPs, prescription management, community opiate detox, carrying out assessments and interventions, offering health promotion and harm reduction advice, including BBVs. This vacancy would be an initial 3-6 month contract with likely extension thereafter, on full time hours (Mon-Fri 9-5). The pay rate would be £15-19ph dependent on experience.
