New Job Front End Developer - VIT FRONTEND Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Fordingbridge, England Salary: £20000 - £40000 per annum Front End Developer Southampton/ Bournemouth Border £30,000 - £40,000 (salary negotiable on experience) I am currently collaborating with a well-established digital company who is actively searching for a Front End Developer to join their team based a commutable distance from Southampton or Bournemouth. As a key individual, you will be involved in the continuing development and maintenance of bespoke web applications as well as companys software assets including corporate intranet, extranet and public web site. Key Tasks *Work closely with designers to produce HTML5/CSS3 implementations *Design and produce cutting edge frontend templates. *Produce templates to the highest accessible standards possible. *Liaise with the development team to continually improve the development processes. *Work alongside back-end developers integrating HTML5/CSS3 templates into the required CMS. *Act as Subject Matter Expert for Front End Development. Key Technical Skills *XHTML/HTML5 *CSS/CSS3 *CMS integration of front end templates *Building templates to required accessibility standards *Building templates that are responsive *JavaScript, jQuery and JSON *CSS frameworks such as SASS In addition, working experience of Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla are a distinctive advantage alongside Angular JS, JIRA and GIT. The salary guide is negotiable depending on experience but as a guide it is £30,000 - £40,000 + a benefits package such as 28 days holiday, pension scheme and health care top-up plans.
