New Job HR Manager - kh/180914 Industry: Human Resources and Personnel Job Type: Permanent Location: Surrey, England Salary: £35000 - £45000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation at their Head Office based near Egham Surrey for an experienced HR Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of HR Management experience and must be CIPD qualified. The role of the HR Manager will be to lead and manage formal hearings on employee relations issues including grievances, poor performance, absence and disciplinary action up to and including dismissals, appeals. Key Duties: Keeping your internal clients appraised of current and new Employment Legislation, producing reports and statistical analysis (not complex) that informs the business of key people issues. Coach Management to aid their proactive resolution of ad hoc people management issues. Actively seek out opportunities to create initiatives that contribute to employee engagement. Understand and respect the role of elected representative councils for employees and ensure proper consultation procedures are followed as and when required. Manage Company s portfolio of Policies and Procedure Provide lead on the utilization of the HR system to maximize functionality to HR team and users. Work to develop strategies to align performance contribution management with resourcing and recruitment initiatives. Provide insights and support as required to ensure business attracts and retains good fit employees who can deliver the Company s values. Provide technical hands-on support to simple OD interventions, which may result in the Redundancy/Reorganisation of staff Actively be involved in ongoing HR Projects such as restructuring, TUPE, change management and other HR initiatives. Work with to develop tool kits and coaching interventions to support and strengthen line management to deliver leadership that builds employee engagement. Provide HR data for global audits and compliance initiatives. Manage global on line compliance training for managers. Skills Ability to engage with the people of the Company and build effective relationships, able to demonstrate a coaching style and a strong sense of commitment, team work and customer satisfaction. Passion, enthusiasm, sense of humour, can do approach and able to produce quality results with limited budgets and infrastructure. Resilient self-starter, happy to take ownership and drive for results. CIPD qualified Strong legal knowledge Experience of TUPE Works well independently but also knows and uses the value of working interdependently with HR and line colleagues. Competent with Microsoft, particularly Excel and Word.
