They are currently looking to recruit a Head of Quality Assurance and Management Systems to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a company from its inception and help shape the Assurance function in one of the most exciting projects in the UK today. Job Role The Head of QA & Management Systems will be responsible for developing the strategy and delivery of a central Quality Assurance and Integrated Management System. There is a real opportunity to shape the role and to build and lead a new team in this critical area. Duties -To act as Head of Profession within the company for Quality Assurance & Management Systems reporting to the responsible Director. -Co-ordinate, set and review the quality policy and objectives as part of the overall Integrated Management System. -Act as the Quality Champion within the Company. Manage the non-conformance & quality audit programme. -Be a quality mentor supporting project managers within the business in defining and establishing internal project QA requirements and arrangements. -Provide leadership and oversight for an Electronic Document Record & Management System (EDRMS) -Support technology partner in the GDA programme as the MSQA SME. -Work with external organisations (NIA, SDF, Skills Academy, NAMRC, NucSIG, etc, to ensure companies quality requirements are well known within the Supply Chain and adhered to. Qualifications and Experience -Track record of success and achievement in career to date demonstrated within relevant QA and Management System roles. -Extensive, relevant experience of the development of strategy & delivery of QA and Management System services (preferably on large power plant/large infrastructure projects though this is desirable). -Evidence of academic achievement. Likely to be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) with significant operational experience. -Experience of current Management System software and hardware approaches, ideas and solutions. -Proven experience supporting and ensuring the assessment and definition of requirements for a QA system for the company to cover the requirements of contract management, site development, planning and consents, site licence application, through development, construction and commissioning phase to commercial operation. -Good stakeholder, relationship management and interpersonal skills. -Ability to collaborate and engage effectively across business areas with staff at all levels. Credibility to liaise with company Stakeholders and other company staff to understand work scopes and QA and Mgmt System requirements. -Leadership / people management experience. Ability to build, develop and manage a high performing and cohesive team. -Strong written and verbal communication.
