Our client is working at over 40 Unique Venues of London and caters for over 300 high end events per annum. The key responsibilities of the Junior Events / Operations Manger will be: Office Liaising with suppliers and contractors Booking front and back of house staff Placing equipment and drinks orders Setting up and hosting client food and drinks tastings Events Running receptions and dinners at Unique Venues of London Assisting on larger Events at London venues The ideal Sales and Event Planner will have the following skills: Excellent telephone manner Impeccably presented and confident Passionate about the catering and hospitality industry Strong manager with good leadership skills Strong sales and customer service skills Demonstrate the understanding and skills used in the catering and event industry. Excellent computer skill; knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. Previous experience with CRM software would be beneficial but not essential. Attention to detail and ability to focus. Excellent organisational, administration and communication skills. 3 years experience at a similar company is essential To be successful in this role you must have good organisational skills, well developed administrational skills and previous sales experience in hospitality & catering.
