Ability to work on conveyor belts, food processing machinery -equpment, Repairs broken machinery by diagnosing problem, ordering new part(s) and installing if necessary and consulting manuals other mechanics. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be able to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Must be able to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Must be able to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Hours will vary depending on production and peak seasons.
