New Job Maintenance Site Support Manager - Leicestershire - PTR14/681 Industry: Engineering Job Type: Permanent Location: Leicestershire, England Salary: £43000 - £47000 per annum + car, pension, bonus Site Support Manager - Leicestershire to £43k + car + 10% bon + benefits Our client is recognized globally as a market leader in the provision of highest quality and efficient Materials Handling and sortation solutions for a diverse range of applications, and as a result of a recent positive restructuring exercise and an ongoing planned programme of continuous strategic growth, an urgent need has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and highly capable Site Support Manager to complement their existing team of engineering professionals. Working on a permanent days basis, the successful candidate will report directly to the Residential Contracts Manager and be wholly responsible for the direction and management of a team of multi disciplined engineers tasked with the reactive and planned preventative maintenance within busy distribution centre environments, with the working week split between 4 days on site in Lutterworth and 1 day in Melton Mowbray each week. To be considered for this exceptional opportunity with a genuine blue chip market leading organisation, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer facing communication skills, site supervisory experience and knowledge of the warehousing and distribution sector. Additionally, you will possess a full driving licence (a company car is provided) and proven commercial awareness and experience of negotiation with customers and supplier respectively. You will be tasked with managing the site maintenance operation in order to ensure that the commitments of the client support agreement are met at the Distribution Centres, and will build and sustain a relationship with the on-site customer team whilst developing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team, and based on your experience, will have the authority to initiate action to eliminate product process and quality system non-conformities in the interests of the efficient running of the operation. With the on-site agreements worth in excess of £500k, your performance will be measured against the achievement of standards of performance relating to customer satisfaction and technical performance, and your ability to ensure support services are provided efficiently through the on-site team of engineers and other departments of the company as applicable. Additionally, you will ensure that maintenance activities are duly planned, actioned, reported and recorded and that your team are trained and developed where appropriate in order to ensure the achievement of Site financial targets.
