New Job Support Analyst - Equity Derivatives - 188031 Industry: Banking Job Type: Permanent Location: Hong Kong Salary: HK$50000 - HK$60000 per month + benefits + bonus Application Support - Hong Kong This is a fantastic opportunity for Application Support Analyst who is experienced in the field of Equity Derivatives. This position incorporates functions within Front Office, Risk Management, Finance accounting and Operations. This role requires a highly technical individual. Responsibilities: The successful candidate must maintain a stable environment to ensure maximum uptime of trading systems. The candidate will also liaise with the internal development team and vendors to resolve support issues. The role will also include production acceptance testing of new software and rollouts. She/he must also understand and follow escalation procedures within a support environment. The candidate must also update stakeholders on open issues. Technical Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide, global trading systems. The candidate must be familiar with both UNIX and Windows platforms. Knowledge of one or more scripting language is also a must, e.g. Perl, Python, VB, Script, Unix Shells. Solid knowledge of SQL and database and an understanding of database concepts. The candidate must also be familiar with messaging systems such as TIBCO EMS, MQ etc Business Requirements: The successful candidate will have an understanding of trade-flows, a basic understanding of back office and finance operations is a plus. The candidate will also understand equity derivatives. She/he must also strictly adhere to escalation procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global bank.
