New Thread... Idaho Code, Title 18, Chapter 3302, Sub-Section 9: While in any motor vehicle, inside the limits or confines of any city, a person shall not carry a concealed weapon on or about his person without a license to carry a concealed weapon. This shall not apply to any firearm located in plain view whether it is loaded or unloaded. A firearm may be concealed legally in a motor vehicle so long as the weapon is disassembled or unloaded. As explained to me by a retired County Sheriff there is NO SUCH THING AS CONCEALED CARRY OUTSIDE OF CITY LIMITS. When in ANY motor vehicle as long as the ammunition is separated from the weapon there is no definition as to where that must be in the vehicle. According to my understanding they CAN be right next to each other by law as the weapon IS effectively disabled. When on a boat OUTSIDE city limits the gun can be anywhere on the boat and cannot be considered concealed carry. Know the law... Know your rights...
