New Years Eve. Too many stars to list, but Robert DeNiro, Halle Berrie and many many more. Want some really good fluff? You found it. I have been avoiding this movie for some time, and in a moment of weakness, took it out at our library. What a nice surprise!!! This adorable movie is about several couples (some man and woman; some nurse and patient; some mother and teenage daughter) who are all portrayed in different stories during the new years eve celebration in 2012. At first I thought it just may be an opportunity for a bunch of grossly overpaid stars to cash in on a gimmick, but I was wrong. This is a sweet, moving and well constructed (and funny) flick about how their stories develop and end, all within one day...ending up, of course, at the dropping of the ball in the big apple. No, nothing too serious to ponder here, but it was fun, the music was great, and the stories were truly interesting and actually fairly well developed. Do yourself a favor and catch this flick. Am hoping you like it as much as I did. Happy New Year, kids.
