New Years Prayer from Robin D. Duncan Dear God, Thank You, in advance, for a glorious year, where miracles abound and love is remembered and freely shared. In this moment of new beginnings, I declare that I am One with You, and I am forever as You created me. My mistakes and failures have done nothing to alter the purity, innocence, and greatness of all that I am. I stand in the Light of the Holiness that You created within me and I accept my Brothers Holiness as my own. Thank You for giving me the Light of True Vision, that I may see through the fog of my illusions of lack, struggle, misery, pain, illness, conflict, guilt, powerlessness, and death, and instead I choose to see what You see, and to know what You know. I forgive myself for any decision I ever made that seemed to cost me, or contribute to my suffering, or to that of someone else (as now I understand this is impossible). I forgive each and every person I may have judged as capable of offering me less than love (as now I understand this is impossible). Only love is real. I will not elect illusions to replace Reality. I stand in the Light of True Awareness and the Greatness of Your Love, where suffering, lack, guilt, fear, illness, doubt, conflict, loss, and delay are impossible. What You did not create, has no power to do anything. I accept my True Identity and my Divine Inheritance exactly as You have given it, and I let the rest go. I have no use or value for illusions, or for anything less than what You have given. I gratefully accept Your will as my own. I want to be happy instead of right. I am willing to be wrong about what I thought I knew in the past, as I declare with certainty: I am as You created me. I am the Holy Son of God, Himself; free of all limits, safe, healed & whole. I am sustained by Your Love & provided for by Your limitless resources. I am worthy of Your Great Love for me & the finest that life has to offer. I am willing to question my illusions, instead of questioning Your Love. I am determined to see the Light and Truth and Purity of each and every one of my Brothers and Sisters, whether or not they show it to me, and/or whether or not they can see it for themselves. I want to see the Loving Light of Christ in each and every face. I will there be Light. Darkness is not my will. Let me behold the Light that reflects Your Will and Mine. I rest in the Greatness of Your Love for me, and Trust that I, and all of my Brothers are safe, free from harm, and that loss is impossible. I accept miracles in the place of all of my judgments and grievances. I gratefully place my future in Your very capable hands. I will listen to only One Voice, my Teacher of Peace, as You Guide me safely and swiftly back to all that is rightfully mine, according to Your Will. Thank You for teaching me to walk in the enormous Abundance of Your Love and Resources, and to question lack or misery wherever I see or suspect them. If I forget, I ask that You remind me to choose again. No one can fail that seeks to remember the Truth, and I want to remember the Truth, and only the Truth. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for healing my mind of all errors and misperceptions. Thank You, in advance, that from this day forward, my life experience is far greater, happier, more peaceful, abundant, and filled with ease, than anything or any experience I have ever known.
