New York City MTA officers and NYPD, my 2 sisters and I boarded the E train from Penn Station at around 10:30pm. A group of about 7-8 belligerent teenage African American females boarded the train at the Port Authority stop. They were instigating a conversation with one of my sisters in a rude and disrespectful manner. They got offended when they didnt get any response. I cannot confirm their mental state but I will exact that they used profane language and started physically hitting me and my sisters because we were speaking Filipino to one another. They demanded that we speak English. We tried to walk away but all of them ganged up on us and physically attacked us when we tried to avoid the situation. My sisters were hit in the head and the back. Other people intervened, but had there been no one else in that train, who knows what couldve happened to us? At the next stop, 50th and 8th Ave, the other people on the train tried to get an officer to help us report the situation but to no avail. The group of belligerent females got off the train at this stop. I ask that you provide watchful and vigilant officers on the train so situations like this are prevented from happening to other New Yorkers. #MTA #NYPD #NewYork #NYC
