New flood maps are out!!! Senator Schumers office has just noticed the civic that the new fema flood maps are out and available for review. The changes are significant and good news for broad channel where the entire island has gone from the dreaded V zone to an A zone and the elevation has gone down from either 15 or 13 feet to a standard of 10 feet for whole island. We appreciate the senators efforts on getting fema to enact these changes
