New machine. A tubular electronic doubler made with a section of a bottle and a plastic pot. Works quite well in this extremely hot and dry day. At first my impression was that it would not work, because it has a tendency to stall after a few cycles due to charge accumulation at the frictioned plastic surfaces. But I found that by inverting the diodes it works again, with opposite polarities. I am still thinking in a better way to revert the connections.
