New research is being done to find out how some sharks are making it into fresh water and living. Since Cystic Fibrosis is a salt displacement disease I wonder how this information could help our children. I am wondering what happened to the research on the red tide having elements in it that would help Cystic Fibrosis children? It still is baffling why research was completed on one of the least popular mutation when it would have helped so many more children to conduct research on Delta 508 ? It is the most common mutation. Children can have the same mutation from each parent or can have one mutation from one parent and another mutation from the other parent and they have Cystic Fibrosis. Coleman Drew has the most common and both mutations are the same.
