New (to me) Area Rug! My new apartment had a bit of live sound due to the large expanse of ceramic tile on the floors, smooth bare walls and high ceilings. The acoustics are OK and music sounded good, but had a bit of bright sound and echo due to the excessive amount of smooth flat surfaces. The Humane Society had two large (roughly 17 X 14) rugs donated and for sale. (A great purchase for me and the proceeds go to an excellent cause) This helped soften the acoustics in the living room and was immediately Tropicat approved! Once the rug is reoriented, the sofas are in place, stereo is set up properly and some wall decorations are obtained, the living room should be nice and comfy!
