News (30.09.2013) KISHTWAR: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Baseer Ahmed Khan today said that strict action would be taken against the employees who would skip their duties. Chairing a meeting of line departments, Khan directed District and sectoral officers to ensure full attendance of employees in their respective offices. The officers were asked to immediately bring to his notice if the employees remain absent from duty so that disciplinary action could be taken against them. “In the wake of strike call given by some unions, the government has decided to invoke ESMA against the striking employees”, the DDC said and intimated that as section 144 has already been enforced, no unlawful assembly or sloganeering will be allowed and who so ever found involved, will be dealt according to law. The Superintendent Police, DIO, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars were asked to check the attendance in the offices and report compliance on daily basis.
