News Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 1 Public Hearing to be Streamed Live on VBgov VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – April 30, 2014 – The city of Virginia Beach will hold a public hearing on the city’s effective real estate tax rate for fiscal year 2015 on Thursday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at Kempsville High School, 5194 Chief Trail. This public hearing will be streamed live on VBgov/media. The May 1 public hearing will be rebroadcast on VBTV, Cox channel 48 and Verizon channel 45, on the following dates. Sunday, May 4 Thursday, May 8 Friday, May 9 City Council is scheduled to vote on the proposed FY2015 budget and six year capital improvement program on Tuesday, May 13.
