News Update. We have confirmation at last that the case against the four county officials has collapsed following the arrival of experienced lawyers from Nairobi this morning who demanded evidence from the public prosecutor. The lawyers argued that it was unlawful to detain someone without sufficient evidence more than 24 hours and it was decided that all of them be released from custody and the case against them dismissed. Another encouraging news we are getting from Mandera also suggests that Cheif Boraw Adaw Edo has been confirmed today as the paramount senior chief of Mandera county. His role will be to oversee the performances of all the chiefs in Mandera county and will also have the right to suspend or even dismiss them . We take this opportunity to congratulate Chief Boraw adaw edo and his entire family and wish him the best of luck with his new role. In a different development yesterday afternoon, Degodia citizens on the ground in Burmayo and Gulani were told by wajir politicians to burn the few several houses in the two villages so that they would be able to play the victim card when Olelenku and Kimaiyo visits the place together with other Mps from northern Kenya but to the surprise of Wajir politicians, Olelenku is said to have ordered the helicopter pilot to proceed to Nairobi and forget about the issue of Wajir as the mission had already failed and that they have only inflamed the situation rather than calming it down. We are also getting unconfirmed report that Cabinet secretary Adan Mohamed and Olelenku have clashed over his visit to Mandera and the scandal that ensued. It was also revealed today that Olelenku was suppose to travel to Mandera with adan mohamed but left in a hurry just to make sure Mr Adan was left behind. The move was designed to please Degodia politicians who paid a huge sum of money to Mr Mandazi and david Kimaioyo even though everything boomeranged on them and both of them had to leave Mandera with their tail between their legs- in shame and humiliation. In the meantime, as the people of Mandera congratulate and support their governor and senator, its widely believed that all the four Garre member of parliament have destroyed their political careers by showing an astonishing degree of incompetence. In every corner of Mandera county , citizens are discussing how Roba and Kerrow stood up for their people when their service was highly needed and how the 4 Mps flopped and catastrophically failed their people.
