News from Manus Island. Please read this and ask whether this is what Australia should be doing to people who have committed no offence by coming and seeking protection: I escaped of my country because of injustice, oppression, persecution and death. I risked my life two times to sail on the huge and horrible ocean to Australia because I heard that Western countries such as Australia claim to apply Human rights. When I arrived on Christmas Island, I thought all adversities would finish. BUT, I was completely wrong. I had stuck into the worst situation. I just reached out to Australia to get assistance and no more. I wanted to live in free country which applies Human rights, Start a new family and assist Australians using my qualification and experience. BUT, I have never seen any humanity, any Human rights, any freedom or any positive of signs.... why does the Australian government torture us. They have forced us to come to PNG, They... telling us Go back to your country. anywhere any time. Why?, .... I am wondering why doesnt Australian assist us nor give us to other country such as NZ, US, Canada (safe & secure & free country) NOT force to send to to PNG without any guarantee to live safety. I am asking of Australian and you , Why do you put us in jail(horrible detention) for long times (about 17 months) and torture us mental ... Why do you want to make us crazy just for your planning ((STOP THE BOATS))? You are making us crazy, killing people, mental tortures and forcing us to go back, we actually and really have family and they are concerned us. Are these Human behaviours? Why does all the staff fear or they scared to help us from immigration? (For example: one of IHMS Doctor told me that Immigration told us DO NOT help asylum seekers I appreciated of the Doctor because he told me the truth.) Why dont you release us from jail? Why do you forget poor asylum seekers? (we are Human like you) Why do you want to spend your TAX for torturing people instead of assisting people from injustice ... This person is just one of hundreds suffering in detention because Morrison and Abbott have lied to us: they call boat people illegal when in fact they commit no offence by coming here the way they do. These two men, Abbott and Morrison, claim to be practising Christians, but they are using deliberate cruelty against innocent people: it is the opposite of Christianity, and it should worry all of us: if they are willing to mistreat one group of innocent people, what is to stop them mistreating another group? Dishonesty and cruelty are the hallmark of this government. It will take decades to live down the shame they are brining on this country.
