News from the August club Newsletter: Selectors have been chosen, chaired by Paul Edwards on Wednesday & Roger Spence on Saturday Membership fees & intention to play Pennant bowls - the club needs to know your intentions if you have not yet indicated - club fee is $250 before 1 September - you MUST be financial before 15 September to give the club time to register you. Pre - season trials: Wednesday - 18, 25 September & 2 October - Saturday 14, 21 & Sunday 29 September, plus 5 & 12 October - Thursday 24 September and 3 October. Pennant bowls begin: Wednesday - 9 October - Thursday - 10 October - Saturday - 19 October Practice - will be Tuesdays & Thursdays. Thursday 29 August is the first official practice day - an information night with a presentation by our Director of Bowls followed by a pie floater meal. Once again there will be a two-bowl Singles Pre-season tournament, run on Tuesdays. Other dates to remember: Fathers Day Bowls - 1 September - Annual Spring Clean - 8 September - Sharks Quiz Night 7 September
