Next storm to watch moves into the Ohio Valley next Tuesday. FOR WEATHER GEEKS ONLY: Wow... you get two GEEK reports this afternoon. See the ECMWF maps attached to see how this storm moves from the south and then moves up and west of the Appalachian Mountains. Sound familiar? The ECMWF is predicting moderate to heavy snow north of the low pressure center. That puts the southeast half of Ohio in a zone to watch for accumulating snow next week. Meanwhile, the GFS is taking the low from Alabama up and east of the Appalacian Mountains. That obviously make a huge difference and means just a brush of light snow here. As you know....Ive been a fan of the EURO this winter. Lets see if the ECMWF is right once again!
