Next we have Anna Krulder! I had been wanting to try cosplaying for years. I always thought it was the coolest thing, and Im glad I started. I found out that I really felt a personal connection to the really badass characters like Lara Croft, several Daedric Princes from the Elder Scrolls, and Dr. Zed from Borderlands. Last year I had gained weight, and my skin was really breaking out, but I found a character that empowered me (Daedric Prince Hircine) and made me want to step out of my comfort zone. I was so nervous while I was walking around in what little clothing I had on, but I was being asked to get pictures done and everything. Although there are some people who are a pain, this community is brimming with people who are there just like you to appreciate the art of cosplay. So not to drone on, but after this experience it made me realize that if you are truly happy with a cosplay that you have on, then you dont need to worry about other things such as weight or your skin.
