Next week, from January 5th, it will be the 133 anniversary of when Osmond Otto Brand turned up on the doorstep of the family of William Papper/Pepper and told them he had been washed out to sea. In actual fact Brand had murdered the young fisher-lad. There are no memorials in Hull to the little lad, nor are there any graves or plaques. The only place one could remember him was at the Hands on History Centre, which Hull City Council closed. Please take a second to remember him and the other fisher-lads who were lost at sea.
