Next week the children will have a week of learning around Children in Need we see this as a learning opportunity and not just a stand alone day, we hope that the children will be able to reflect on their own lives and that of other children. The older children will be planning activities for the younger ones for the Friday. The children will be asked to come to school dressed up and bring a donation. We are giving the children a choice about what they come in. The official theme this year is heroes however we do not want parents to feel pressurised to go out and buy expensive costumes and therefore the other option is to come in their pyjamas and bring their teddy with them. The staff are very excited about the PJ part they think that they can just roll out of bed and come to work that day !! All donations will be going to the Children in Need charity. bbc.co.uk/childreninneed
