Taz has been whirling around his foster home and has learned to be quite the little angel! With a smile like that, he can charm the pants off anyone. He’s ready to leave the South and reach his rescue in PA so he can find a family all his own to watch over! This boy is an angel! Please let me know as soon as you can if you can drive a leg. Respond directly to [email protected] so I do not miss any offers! *** IF YOU HAVE NOT DRIVEN FOR ME BEFORE PLEASE FILL OUT THE ONLINE DRIVERS INFORMATION FORM . I MUST HAVE YOUR DRIVER INFORMATION PRIOR TO FINALIZING THE TRANSPORT. Dogs’ lives rely on your commitment to drive. Relay transports cannot operate if there is a missing leg in the relay and it is the animals who suffer as a result. If you offer to fill a transport leg please be aware that the transport coordinator, the other members of the assembled transport team, and most importantly our passengers, are relying on you to show up to drive your leg. Remember that transports do not always run “on time” due to unforeseen circumstances. Please be courteous to the driver before you if they are late as nobody can control traffic or weather. If an emergency arises that prevents you from driving your confirmed transport leg, you must notify the transport coordinator as soon as possible. RUN MUST FILL BY FRIDAY NOON OR IT CANCELS. NO OTHER DOGS MAY BE ADDED TO THIS RUN UNLESS PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED WITH ME. These dogs are quarantined - unquarantined dogs may NOT travel with them. I do an early cancel if not filled to give you time to offer for any other transports trying to get through. I do not allow dogs to ride in the back of an open pickup truck. Do not walk more than one dog at a time. Thank you for what you do. You are the lifeline of rescue and without you these kids – old and young – would not have a life! WHO ARE YOU DRIVING FOR? – Do you know if the TC you are driving for is a safe TC who follows safe transport protocols? Do you know that the rescue the dogs are going to is a reputable rescue? Read on to find out what questions you need answers to before your transport a dog. DRIVERS - WHO ARE YOU DRIVING FOR & WHAT FATE AWAITS THE DOGS YOU ARE TRANSPORTING? ************************************************************************* PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN DOG ON THIS TRANSPORT. If any of these dogs break with anything your dog will be exposed! We do our best to make sure the dogs are healthy but even quarantined dogs can break with Kennel Cough because of the stress of the transport. ************************************************************************* THE FINE PRINT: “Moving Mutts and Mousers” is not a business. As a volunteer transport coordinator, I am dependent on what the senders tell me about our passengers temperaments. The very nature of rescue transport creates some risk for those who participate in it; even a good-natured dog may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and cooped up with unfamiliar dogs, and in consequence may act in uncharacteristic ways. Neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport. If you wish to adopt a dog you have driven you must go through regular channels. No dog leaves this transport. ************************************************************************* Paula B Ford OTRA Verified Transport Coordinator 252-339-0664 [email protected] See the new Moving Mutts and Mousers Transports Facebook page! seadogrescue.org Friend us on Facebook: Sea Dog Rescue Paula Paula B.
